Love Bags
On the weekend of November 18th and 19th, over eighty volunteers came to First Methodist to help feed over 650 mouths this Thanksgiving season.
This year each family that received a voucher was given the option of a hot meal or a box of groceries. Each meal included a turkey, stuffing, gravy, pies, and vegetables that was able to feed the number of people in each family.
Along with the meal options we also had the option to have your meals delivered to you. A group of people went out into the community to deliver food and meals along with a word of prayer.
The Thanksgiving Love Bag Mission was a huge success in feeding those in need this Thanksgiving Season.
